The Medium Bomb Bag is an optional item in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It allows Link to hold an additional 10 Bombs in addition to the amount held by the Bomb Bag he acquires in the Earth Temple. This item can be acquired by upgrading the Small Bomb Bag which can be purchased at the Gear Shop. In order to upgrade it, Link must have a certain amount of different treasure. He needs 3 Ornamental Skull, 1 Blue Bird Feather, and 1 Lizard Tail. The cost of this upgrade is 50 Rupees.

Upgrades

The Medium Bomb Bag can be upgraded into the Large Bomb Bag, which can hold 15 additional bombs. This upgrade requires 4 Jelly Blob, 3 Lizard Tail, 2 Hornet Larvae, and 1 Golden Skull. The cost is 100 rupees.
