The Man of Smiles is the starting point for the [[Trading Sequence]] [[Trading Sequence#Phantom Hourglass|in Phantom Hourglass]]. When [[Link]] enter his ship, which is a room with colourful wallpaper, the door closes behind him, and he is trapped with a bunch of [[Octorok#Phantom Hourglass|Octoroks]], some [[Yellow ChuChu#Phantom Hourglass|Yellow ChuChus]], a [[Blue ChuChu#Phantom Hourglass|Blue ChuChu]] and a [[Zora Warrior]]. Once they have been defeated, the door will open and the Man of Smiles will enter. If you try to leave, he will speak to you, hoping you're not hurt, and then ask you whether you want a normal or a mysterious thing as a reward. Regardless of your choice he will give you both, with funny comments. The "normal thing" is a [[Prize Postcard]], and if you enter the ship again end defeat all the enemies again he will give you another, you can repeat this an unlimited number of times. Interaction
