Lightroot

Lightroots are objects found in the Depths of Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Depths are very dark with no light from the Surface reaching down. A small amount of light appears from Lightroots, but Link can use Brightbloom Seeds to light up the area. When Link reaches a Lightroot, he can activate it, which will bring light to the Depths in the immediate area.

Each Lightroot corresponds with a Shrine of Light that is on the Surface. Furthermore, each Lightroots name is the same as its corresponding Shrine that is directly above it, just with the letters spelled backwards.
