The Lens of Truth alows Link to see invisible objects in the game. It shows things like ghosts and a ladder. but at the expense of magic, so it is advised not to use it a lot or nonstop.

The Lens of Truth is found in the Bottom of the Well.
Majora's Mask
In Majora's Mask the lens of truth is found in the cave east of the Goron Shrine in the Goron Village however, not without the aid of Kaepora Gaebora who tells Link to "let his feeling guide him.
"Do not be daunted by appearances. Instead, let your feelings guide you, and the true path shall open before you."
