Key Masters are enemies that appear once Link has found the dungeon's big Key. They try to halt Link's progress by grabbing the key and returning it to it's original position. There is no way to kill a Key Master besides placing the Big Key in the lock it belongs to.
Key Masters are hand shaped enemies that are found in some dungeons in [[Phantom Hourglass]] and [[Spirit Tracks]]. Their purpose is to prevent [[Link]] from moving the [[Big Key]] from its default location to the lock it is inserted to. Key Masters only appear once link disturbs the Big Key and vanish once the key has either been put into the appropriate lock or returned to where it was found. Key Masters are invincible and only move toward the key, therefore the only way link can be harmed from them is if he stands, with the key, while one drops from above.
