Force Gems are items in many Zelda games. They have many uses as outlined below.
Appearances
Four Swords Adventures
In Four Swords Adventures, Force Gems are found throughout Hyrule, and must be coolected by the player in order to create enough power in the Four Sword to break Vaati's seals, which are found at the end of each sub-level.
Phantom Hourglass

Spirit Tracks
Force Gems don't appear until the middle of Spirit Tracks. They are acquired through various sidequests and are used to expand the Spirit Tracks.
