Doomknocker, also known as Hell Guma, is an enemy that appears in The Adventure of Link.
Appearances
Doomknockers are enemies that guard the Island Palace, Labyrinth Palace, and Hidden Palace in The Adventure of Link. They are blue-armored soldiers that attack by throwing spiked maces that acts like a boomerang. They have a very similar attack pattern with Gumas/ Mace Throwers. They can also occasionally jump into the air to avoid Link's attack or to change the pace of their throws.
Doomknockers are very dangerous enemies, so Link can try dodging their maces and attack it by using a Downward Thrust. Link can also use the Reflect Spell to block a Doomknocker's mace. Link gains 200 experience points for defeating a Doomknocker.
