The Darknut Battle is the third stage of Level 8 in Link's Crossbow Training. This level controls as a Ranger level and as its name suggests, Link battles with a Darknut.
The Darknut enemy has appeared in many of the early Zelda games from The Legend of Zelda to Twilight Princess. It is a fully armoured mascot and its weak spot is at his back, he is a fairly tough enemy and has developed in each game. In Twilight Princess, he appears four times throughout the whole game, in the Temple of Time, Hyrule Castle and Cave of Ordeals.
