Carock is a Boss in The Adventure of Link. It is fought at the end of the fourth dungeon, Maze Island Palace.
Carock has the appearence of a large Wizzrobe with a red cloak in the game, although it is blue in the official artwork. Its face is covered by darkness behing his cloak, and only its white eyes are visible. Its appearance and animation are slightly different in the Japanese version.
Boss Battle
Carock hurls a number of spells at Link. Attacking Carock directly is futile, as he will take no damage. He can only be defeated by using the spell Reflect so that his magical attacks can be hurles back at him. A common strategy is to crouch in the far edge of the room, and crouch, which will enable Link to reflect his attacks while avoiding damage.
