(I put information about Armos for all the games except for skyward sword. I will be glad if anyone fixes any mistakes I may have made without relizing it.)

Another way is to simply hit them with the Biggorons sword which can only be found with a secret. To kill them you must either slash them with your sword thrice or by blowing up bombs nearby twice. Both of them can take a single heart away if they touch you.

Armos are statue enemies that reside in the ruins outside of the Eastern Palace. They look like normal statues, until you come up to them and touch them. They will hop around the screen and attempt to chase after you. A good few hits from the sword should take care of them, but it's still best to remain cautious with them. These enemies are similar to the six Armos Knights that Link will fight in the Eastern Palace. They are found in almost all games.

Skyward Sword

Armos can be found within the Lanayru Mining Facility. Link can use the Gust Bellow to spin their heads, temporarily stunning them and leaving them vulnerable to attack.

Ocarina of Time

Found in the Dodongos cavern and the Spirit Temple. These Armos sit completely still until you touch them. They go nuts and start chasing you. If you don't kill them fast enough, then they will return to their origional position and go back to sleep. To kill them you must blow up a bomb behind it. When it dies, it goes completely nuts before they blow up. They only have two attacks contact which takes away half a heart and explosian which takes away half a heart as well.

Twilight Princess

Like the Oot ones they sit completely still until you touch them. Their crystal on their back is their weak point, so you must attack it. When they die they go nuts before exploding like a bomb. They are way easier to kill than their Oot counterparts, but still just be glad that they are only found in the Temple of Time. Its only attack is the hammer that takes away only half a heart.

Phantom Hourglass

These ones will slowly hop towards you. All you have to do is toss a bomb at it and it will simply deactivate, allowing you to push the body onto a switch. Their only atttack is contact which takes away half a heart.

Minish Cap

They are found in the wind ruins. Like other games they remain completely still until you touch them. You can either deactivate or activate them while you are in Minish form. In which you must climb up the steps on the front of the Armos, where there will be a special button to press. When deactivated if you touch them they will not move. To kill them you must activate them and slash at them with your sword while you are in human form.

The Legend of Zelda

They are statues found throughout the entire overworld of Hyrule. When you touch them they come to life and you must slash them with your sword to kill them. Some move very slowly while others move extremely fast.

A Link to The Past

They are only found in the swamp palace and the Ice palace in the Dark World. Like other games they come to life when you touch them to kill them you must simply slash them with your sword.

Link's Awakening

If you touch them they will randomly move around the room. If they touch you you lose two hearts. They can be found in the overworld. Two ways to kill them (because the sword does no damage) is to shoot them with a bomb or shoot them with your hookshot and place a bomb nearby.

Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages

Like other games they come to life by touch. But one difference is that there are two types of them, Red and Blue. The red ones only come to life when you activate a switch. They then move around the room. Two ways to kill them is, one, to place a bomb next to them which can be difficult. The other is to hit them with your magic boomarang twice. Another way is to simply hit them with the Biggorons sword which can only be found with a secret. The blue ones can be harder to beat because they move really fast and also they activate whenever you simply walk past them. To kill them you must either slash them with your sword thrice or by blowing up bombs nearby twice. Both of them can take a single heart away if they touch you.

Majora's Mask

They can only be found in the Stone Tower Temple. They also come to life when you touch them. They will go after you before returning to their origional position. To kill them you can either use a bomb or a fire punch. When they are dying they will spin around towards you and explode. To make sure that you don't take any damage either avoid them when they are like this or give damage to them again.
