Aquamentus is a boss that is encountered in Gnarled Root Dungeon, the first dungeon in Oracle of Seasons. It is portrayed as a large, green, horned dragon with small wings.
Boss Strategy
As Link enters the room, Aquamentus will fly down from the ceiling and land on the ground, beginning Link's first boss fight in Oracle of Seasons. It will attack Link by breathing fireballs in three different directions at him. Before emitting fireballs, its horns turn red allowing Link to foresee the attack and dodge it. It can also attack Link by charging at him in an attempt to impale him with its horn. After crashing against the far wall, it will fly into the air with its wings and will once again land on the right side of the room before continuing attacking Link.
