Thwimps are enemies found in Link's Awakening and Oracle of Seasons. They are cameo enemies reappearing from Super Mario Bros. games. They are the smaller version of the large stone enemies, Spiked Thwomps and Mega Thwomps.
Appearances
Link's Awakening
Found only in Face Shrine, these stone slabs wait at the ceiling of a room for their enemies to walk underneath them. Simply walking under them is not fast enough, so Link need to equip his Pegasus Boots and make a quick dash to the other side to avoid getting hurt.
They come in two variations: blue and red. The blue one has a big, surprised-like eye with one eye and no mouth. The red one has the angry looking eye and also with one eye and no mouth.
Oracle of Seasons
Thwimp look like and act the same as they did in Link's Awakening. These enemies usually appear lined up, with the line consisting of a few Thwimp. Since these enemies are so small, Link can run past them whenever they fall without worrying about them falling on him.
