We're glad that you signed up so that you can edit, build, and shape the Zelda Dungeon Wiki! Before you start editing, why don't you check out some of these useful links and read these basic rules?
- Edit your settings. Make sure you have set up your settings to make the wiki work the way you want it. We have a bunch of customizations that we have spent time creating, and we hope that you utilize them to the fullest.
- Please treat all members with respect. We don't want to have to ban someone because there is an issue between our users.
- Use wikicode and link templates when making edits to properly format pages. Use templates often to save on coding everything.
- If you have some questions, instead of sitting around doing nothing, ask our administration team. They won't bite.
- Head to our help page to find some links to helpful pages that will teach you how to do many things on the wiki.
- Read the FAQ to find the answers to a few common questions.
- Please use proper grammar and strive for good edits.
- Always sign talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically sign the page with your username and date.
- Use talk pages to talk about edits on pages. Do not participate in editing wars (i.e. editing a page over and over again to make the page what you think it should be rather than what another member thinks) as they are counter productive and will not solve the problem. Use the talk pages like they were meant to be used.
We hope that you enjoy your time here on the Zelda Dungeon Wiki and that you will help us make lots of really good edits. Keep in mind that the administration team will be watching for quality editors to bring them on to our site staff.

my zelda fan fic
note to administarters: pleause don't put anything here! chapter 1 Link had been following Zelda for days now. They were on their way to gerudo town but the trip took longer then expected. Zelda suddenly screamed! Link rushed over to discover a yiga clan member had ambushed them! Link grunted, then let out a mighty gyahh! to defeat the banna loving sheikah. Zelda panting from her scare, got up and told link that they should camp here for the night. chapter 2 Link woke up to discover he was in a cave. a cave with lots of odd symbols. then a yiga clan member appeared! he killed link. Link jumped up from his bed. only to discover that it was a dream. But zelda was gone. so that was his mission. Link decided to go to the yiga clan hideout. As he traveled through the desert he saw a flag. A flag with a familiar face on it. It had a sad face and a large nose. It was Beedle. Chaper 3 Link heard a laugh. then a hot air balloon popped up out of nowhere. it was on fire.

Here's an answer to "what are some basic rules?": You need correct spelling, punctuation and grammar. In-universe nouns like Hylian, Moblin or Horse should be capitalised. When you're putting the title of a game, capitalise all the words except small particles (a, the, of, to, etc.). Obviously that doesn't apply when it's the first word, so still "The Legend of Zelda" instead of "the Legend of Zelda". Also, when you put these titles, put two dashes () on either side of them. Don't put theories. Put the facts, and if there's a clear follow-on you can maybe state that with a degree of uncertainty. Also, if there's a contravention you can state this discrepancy with an explanation (assuming it's sourced).
