Tanko is a Goron shopkeeper who appears in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
Tanko runs the Goron Gusto Shop.
Tears of the Kingdom
In Tears of the Kingdom, Tanko is still in charge of the Goron Gusto Shop. Initially, Tanko can be seen eating Marbled Rock Roast, which effects the way he speaks to Link. He wants to jack up the prices at the shop so he can't rip off the customers, but Bludo has instructed him to keep the prices the same.[1] He blames Bludo for profits being so low.[2] Despite being consumed by the marbled rock roast, Tanko is still willing to purchase items from Link.[3] After talking to Link, Tanko is still rude to him, asking him directly, why he is still there.[4]
After the Goron Regional Phenomena, Tanko is very saddened that people are still rarely coming to the shop.
