Spirit Tracks
Force Gems don't appear until the middle of Spirit Tracks. They are acquired through various side quests and are used to expand the Spirit Tracks. Force Gems are a sign of extreme happiness or gratitude, concentrated into a triangle-pyramid shape. Link can gain a total of 20 Force Gems in the game, with two of them being mandatory to finish the game. When Link gains a Force Gem, his Rail Map starts to glow, and the section in which he completed the quest (most of the time) gains a new set of rails, usually leading to a new station or a bunny.

Force Gems are the rewards that Link acquires in the Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks after completing various side quests. They usually involve Link hauling over ice, lumber, or even Cuccos from one location to another in order to improve the lives of the citizens of New Hyrule. Link can gain a total of 20 Force Gems in the game, with two of them being mandatory to finish the game. When Link acquires a Force Gem, his Rail Map will starts to glow, causing new Spirit Tracks to form and often times leading Link to acquiring secret items, Heart Containers, discovering more Rabbits, or finding other secrets.
