Map-Seller is a character featured in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.

Her husband was a map maker, and when he passed away, the wind blew away his unfinished maps. Only one map remains and it is the Hometown Prairie Map, but it is unfinished. The Map-Seller will give the Map to Tingle and she teaches Tingle how to fill in the map.[1][2]

The Map-Seller will then ask Tingle to fill in the location of her Husband's Grave.[3] The Map-Seller will encourage Tingle to continue to fill out the map by drawing what is missing. She tells Tingle to visit her later at Port Town where she will reward him handsomely for completed maps.[4]

The Map-Seller appears at the end of Port Town. She has opened up shop to sell maps, but she has no maps for sale. She asks Tingle to continue to make maps for her and show them to her. She will reward Tingle for his hard work with rupees.[5]

Map Rewards

The Map-Seller will reward Tingle based on how much of a particular map has been filled in. She'll reward Tingle for filling in individual locations that are missing, as well as for completing the entire maps. The rupees compound, so she'll reward Tingle for the individual locations he fills in, as well as the completed map.

And the wind blew away all of his unfinished maps... There's only one left... The map of this area, Hometown Prairie. You're just a passer-by but if you can help me, I'll reward you! Would you help me draw my map?" - Map-Seller, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
  2. Thank you, young man! As my hands shake, I can't draw properly. Here you are! The map of the Hometown Prairie!" - Map-Seller, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
  3. The map is not yet complete. That grave between the trees hasn't been drawn on the map yet. If you'd be so kind as to draw it on the map for me..." - Map-Seller, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
  4. Show me! I say, young man! This is wonderful! You've got potential! If you find anything else that isn't yet mapped please draw it on the map! If you bring it to my shop in the town, I'll reward you handsomely! Good luck!" - Map-Seller, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
  5. Oh, it's you! Thank you for your help drawing that map. This is my little shop. Well, I say shop... There are no maps for sale... If you would be kind enough to keep making maps for me... I'll be able to get this shop up and running just like the old days. Naturally, I'll reward your hard work with rupees. Good luck, young man!" - Map-Seller, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
