Kiimo

Kiimo is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Kiimo can be found in the Emergency Shelter beneath Lookout Landing. He is reading the Lucky Clover Gazette, which talks about Shrines appearing after the Upheaval.[1] He comments that the paper is a little old.[2]

Lucky Clover Gazette News

Link can return to Kiimo and ask him what the news is in the Lucky Clover Gazette. Depending on progress, he will answer with different news. [3]

  • Freezing Temperatures Bring Feathery Shivers to the Rito.

Rito Village is facing a food shortage as cold winds make travel to the village dangerous for resident and visitor alike![4]

  • Blood Moon Brings Dangerous Nights.

Be wary, dear readers! On nights when a blood moon rises, so, too, do monsters that had been defeated! [5]

  • Rito Village Safe from Cumulus Crisis

Rito life returns to normal with the departure of the massive cloud. And in related news, the Stormwind Ark, a ship straight out of the legends of the Rito, has appeared!

Kiimo will respond that he remembered hearing about the Stormwind Ark, but thought it was a fairy tale.

  • Uplifting News. The Skyview Towers Are Now Active.

The Skyview Towers, developed by eminent researcher Purah and built in every region, now light up our skies! The brave swordsman Link was the first to soar overhead via a tower's launching platform!

Kiimo will respond that he knew the towers were for making maps, but doesn't know about a "launching platform".

This reminds me of that researcher who was studying the blood moon. They were really excited to visit a monster fort and examine the relationship between the monsters and the blood moon. I hope they're doing OK. I don't know if they'd be able to hold their own in a fight." — Kiimo, Tears of the Kingdom
