The Wolfos is an enemy that is not very common in Ocarina of Time. The only times you will see it is in the Forest Temple, and before the maze leading to the forest temple.

The Wolfos is an enemy that appears in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. They are not a very common enemy, only appearing three times in Ocarina of Time, in the Sacred Forest Meadow, the Forest Temple, and in the Gerudo Training Ground. They will try to swipe at Link but if he jumps out of the way they will swing themselves around, resulting in a chance fir Link to kill them with a perjectly timed Jump Attack to the tail.
