The Triforce of Courage is one of the three pieces of the Triforce in the Zelda series. It embodies the power of Farore, one of the Goddesses who created Hyrule. Farore created the creatures to uphold the law created by Nayru, another Goddess who helped create Hyrule.
Unlike the other pieces of the Triforce, the Triforce of Courage did not appear in The Legend of Zelda. It was introduced in The Adventure of Link.
