The Imprisoned is one of the Giant Bosses in Hyrule Warriors. The Imprisoned is only featured in the Sealed Grounds. It can also be found numerous times throughout various Adventure Map stages.

Strategy
If you're like me and have always wanted to go through Skyward Sword as Fi rather than Link, then this is the boss for you. The Imprisoned (in my opinion, the most underwhelming boss in the 3D LoZ titles) was revamped for this game. Now you can slap it with your sword all you want! The Imprisoned is only featured in one story level, in the Sealed Grounds, but he can be found numerous times throughout various Adventure Map Stages.
In the Sealed Grounds level in Legend and Free Mode, Link must wait until it gets to the first keep. Link can attack its fingers, like its toes, while he waits, but it doesn't affect its life by doing so. Once it gets to the first keep, Link should wait inside. It'll start to charge a blast, which takes a long time. Link has ample time to get to the Groosenator, which is a catapult invented by Groose centuries ago. Link can run towards it and press attack to activate it, after which a blast automatically fires at The Imprisoned, which causes it to go down and deal a great amount of damage. Link can take this time to slash away and then wait until it reaches the next keep. If Link didn't inflict enough damage when it was stunned, Link can stun it again by smacking all of its toes into oblivion and then chip away at its Weakpoint Gauge. After Link does so, he should hit it with the second Groosenator that lies inside the new keep. Once Link takes away enough life by smacking its toes and/or using the Groosenator, it'll be taken down.

How to defeat him? Well, the strategy varies. In the Sealed Grounds level in Legend and Free Mode, you must wait until he gets to the first keep. You can attack his bubbly toes while you wait (watch out for when they pulse!), but I wouldn't recommend it, as it doesn't really affect his life that much. Once he gets to the first keep, you should be waiting inside. He'll start to charge a blast, but don't worry. It takes a long time. You'll have ample time to get to (drumroll) the Groosenator! The Groosenator is a catapult invented by Groose centuries ago. Run toward it and press attack to activate it. A blast will automatically fire at the Imprisoned, and he'll go down. Take this time to slash away. Then wait until he reaches the next keep. (NOTE: If you didn't take enough damage away from him when he was stunned, you can stun him again by smacking all of his toes into oblivion. Then chip away at his Weakpoint Gauge.) Once he does, hit him with the second Groosenator that lies inside the new keep. Once you take away enough life (by smacking his toes and/or using the Groosenator), he'll be taken down.

The Imprisoned is one of the Giant Bosses in Hyrule Warriors. The Imprisoned is only featured in the Sealed Grounds. It can also be found numerous times throughout various Adventure Map stages.

Strategy
