Tadtone

		Sets of same-colored, musical-note- shaped creatures here must be collected within a set time or I project they will swim off your score. It appears that using your underwater spin maneuver pulls nearby Tadtones toward you, making it easier to collect them.

Tadtones are the physical form of the notes to Faron's part of the Song of the Hero in Skyward Sword. Tadtones are multicolred tadpole-like creatures that represent and produce music. Faron releases several upon several of them into the flooded Faron Woods for Link to collect. Collecting all of the Tadtones will convince Faron to believe that Link is a true and worthy hero. This will allow him to learn her part of the song.
