These are the railroad tracks in the game The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Link uses them to traverse the realms throughout his adventure. They unfortunately start to disappear at the beginning of the game and Link must get them back throughout his adventure. They can be expanded using Force Gems and Lokomo Songs.

After completing each temple, a new set of rails can be acquired by completing puzzles in the Tower of Spirits. After doing so, new railmaps can be obtained, making the world, very large towards the end.
