Spirit Gems are items that appear in Phantom Hourglass. The three main Spirit Gems are the Power Gem, Wisdom Gem and the Courage Gem. These three gems represent the powers of the Triforce.
Each type of gem will upgrade different abilities Link possesses. These gems can be collected nearly everywhere in the game by completing some main and side quests, solving puzzles, or by finding secret areas or chests that contain one. There are 20 gems in total.
