Shell Beasts are enemies from Phantom Hourglass that are found exclusively within the Temple of Courage.
The pesky enemies are completely invincible to any of the Link's attacks. They will slowly pursue Link and will do 1/2 a heart of damage if they contact him. If Link swipes at a Shell Beast, it will be knocked back, but will then keep on coming. These relentless enemies have a single weakness and it is the environment they choose to occupy. They are always found near a ledge and if Link knocks them off a ledge, they will tumble into the abyss.
