The Rugged Rhino Beetle (076 in the Hyrule Compendium) is an insect found in Breath of the Wild. They can typically be found on the sides of trees around Hyrule, most commonly in the forests of Faron. These beetles are most plentiful in the forested area southeast of Floria Bridge. They can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 4 Rupees each. Cooking them with monster parts results in an Elixir which temporarily increases Link's base defense. If you cook a Rugged Rhino Beetle along with food, it will result in Dubious Food.
