Red Ice is a special type of ice from Ocarina of Time that does not melt from normal fire. Red Ice is, as its name implies, red in color and has special properties. This type of ice can only melt if it comes in contact with Blue Fire. Blue Fire can be found in the Ice Cavern, and can be obtained using a Bottle. Red Ice can only be found in two places: Zora's Domain, and of course the Ice Cavern. King Zora is frozen solid in red ice, and once unfrozen, he gives Link the Zora Tunic so he can venture into the Water Temple.
