Ancient Heartbeat is the first of two expansion passes for Age of Calamity, and is scheduled to release on June 18, 2021. First showcased at a Nintendo Direct on February 17 2021, it will add new playable character(s), new weapons, stronger enemies, and new challenges.
Additions
- A "Battle-Tested Guardian" playable character
- New flail weapon for Link
- Master Cycle Zero for Zelda
- "Apocolyptic" difficulty level
- A new stage called "In the Royal Ancient Lab"
- More challenging enemies such as more powerful Wizzrobes and Giant Chuchus
