Prince Komali is the son of the Rito Chieftain, and shyly and nervously held Din's Pearl after his grandmother died. Din's Pearl was a gift from his grandmother and is the only thing that keeps him calmed down. His grandmother was very close to him, and after she died he stayed in his room and shut himself away from everyone, refusing to listen to anyone.
When Link has defeated Gohma and saved Valoo, Komali gets better and decides to give Link Din's Pearl as a reward for helping them defeating the boss and saving their guardian Valoo.
