The Phantom Guide is a character that appears in Ocarina of Time. The Phantom Guide is a Poe that will direct Link through his pathway across the Haunted Wasteland to reach the Desert Colossus.
After Link crosses the River of Sand, he will see a series of flag posts that will guide him to a monument in the middle of the Wasteland. At the top of this area there is a stone plaque that states that the eye of truth shall be guided to the Spirit Temple by an inviting ghost.
