Pestos, also known as Boons are fly-like enemies that have appeared in The Adventure of Link and The Minish Cap.

Appearances

The Adventure of Link

Pestos are called Boons in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Pestos are enemies that fly very fast around the screen. They can be found in swamps and fields of Eastern Hyrule. Pestos can be dangerous because their flying pattern are very hard to predict. They also can drop stones on their enemies below as they fly. Upward Thrusts are the best way to kill them. Link gains 50 experience points for defeating this enemy.

The Minish Cap

Pestos are flying creatures that Link encounters while in Minish size. The red ones will fly around the room and their only means of attack is to simply fly into Link. The blue ones are stronger and they will try to throw stone at Link. Two swords slashes will defeat them.

Pesto Description
Figurine from The Minish Cap. Appears in Minish roads, dungeons, etc. There are red and blue ones. The blue ones are stronger and throw things down on your head.

Trivia

Pesto is known by their Japanese name Boon, in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
