The Nintendo Wii U is the sixth home video game console made by Nintendo to be released internationally. It is Nintendo's first console to feature high definition graphics outputting at 1080p. The Wii U is backwards compatible with all Nintendo Wii games and is able to emulate a Wii itself, thus allowing access to all Wii Virtual Console and WiiWare titles. Upon launch, it was available in a standard white version, as well as a deluxe black version and was the only eight generation video game console to ship with an HDMI cable.

Battle Quest

The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest is a minigame that comes with Nintendo Land.

The Wind Waker HD

An HD version of The Wind Waker was released in 2013. It was also available in a Wii U bundle that came with a limited edition Wind Waker gamepad.

Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors is a cross-over beween the Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors series. It was released in 2014.

Twilight Princess HD

In the November 2015 Nintendo Direct, an HD version of Twilight Princess was announced to be released in March 2016.

“Zelda Wii U”

Not much is known about the upcoming Zelda title for the Wii U. It is scheduled to be released in 2016.
