The Nintendo Wii, also known as just Wii, is the fifth home gaming console made by Nintendo to be released internationally. It was the first Nintendo console to support Motion Controls, a trait that is also used in its successor, the Nintendo Wii U.

Games

There were two Zelda games released for the Wii. One, Twilight Princess, was originally developed for the Nintendo GameCube but was ported to the Wii with motion controls.

Twilight Princess was released on both the Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii. The Wii version utilized basic motion controls in which the player could shake the Wii Remote Controller in order to swing Link's Sword. Also, the player could use the infrared pointer on the Remote to aim items such as the Hero's Bow. The Wii version had a mirrored world from the GameCube version.
