Male Dayfly

The Male Dayfly is one of the 24 Golden Bugs found in Twilight Princess. Like most male insects, it is somewhat green in color. The Male Dayfly can be found in the Gerudo Desert, along with its companion, the Female Dayfly.

The Male Dayfly is located northeast (Wii) of the far south-central gate in Gerudo Desert. It is best to encounter it during the night when it is most visible. When captured, this bug can be brought to Agitha inside her home, where she rewards Link for bringing her the bug. Prizes range, from the Big Wallet if it is the first bug brought to Agitha; 50 Rupees if it is not the first or last bug brought and is given before the Female Dayfly; 100 Rupees if it is not the first or last bug brought and is given after the Female Dayfly; or the Giant Wallet if it is the last bug given.
