Julietta

Julietta is a character that appears in The Minish Cap.

She is a citizen of Hyrule Town. She lives with her family, which consists of her Mom, Brother, and Scratcher, her pet cat. She is in love with Romio, who lives next door with her, but she cannot get married with him due to the bickering of Julietta's cat Scratcher, and Romio's dog Rolf.

During some point, she borrowed a copy of A Hyrulean Bestiary from the Library, in order to take better care of her cat. However, she forgot to return it, and it must me taken back from her and to the library by Link.

Etymology

Her name is taken from the fictional character Juliet, from William Shakesphere's famous play, Romeo and Juliet. Her relationship with Romio also mimicks the relationship betweeen Romeo and Juliet, in which Romeo and Juliet cannot be together due to their parents disapproval. With Romio and Julietta, however, they cannot get together due to their pets bickering.
