Brant is one of the four deceased knights who originally protected King Mutoh, and he is the fourth ranked.[1] After seeing that Link has already obtained the Spirits of Power, Wisdom, and Courage, he rewards him with the Regal Necklace, Link's only means of dispelling the tornado blocking his passage into the Isle of Ruins.
