Baby Dodongo

Baby Dodongos are enemies that appear in Ocarina of Time.

Appearances

		Baby Dodongo Watch out for its leaping attack! It will explode after it's defeated!

These small lizards are likely the offspring of Dodongos. They will surface from underneath the ground and chase after Link, trying to jump and nip at him if they get close. If Link avoids them, they'll burrow back under, only to reappear moments afterwards. They're quite weak and will die with a single slash of the sword, but be warned, because they explode shortly afterwards. In some occasions, the blast can be used to Link's advantage, taking the place of Bombs.
