Astrid is a fortune teller who is located on the Isle of Ember. She is upset about the recent death of her good friend, Kayo. After Link saves Astrid from her own basement, she will provide Link with some goodies and useful hints throughout the game. Following the traditional fortune-telling in the Zelda series, Astrid will tell Link what his next destination will/should be. She later reveals herself as a member of the Cobble Tribe, who lived on the Isle of Ruins before it was flooded.
