Nintendo Power: May/June 1989 is the sixth issue of Nintendo Power magazine. Up through the end of 1990, Nintendo Power magazine volumes were released covering two-month periods of time, and they were not generally numbered in or on the magazine until Volume 16 (September/October 1990), although "Strategy Guide" issues before this carried a dual "SGxx/NPxx" numbering.

Zelda Content

Mail Box (pp. 6-7)

In the Mail Box from the playesr, Andrew Martin writes in an has put together a rap for The Legend of Zelda

``It's the Legend of Zelda and it's really bad,

the creatures in the game are really rad. Darknuts move very fast, but if you are quick they will not last. Polls VOice jump super high, but if you watch your speed you will not die. Wizrobes move fast I agree, but if you get touched you lose a heart of energy. I'd like to thank Nintendo for all the fun, but I'm sorry to say my rap is done!

Matt Bozon writes in that he loves The Legend of Zelda and is an aspiring cartoonist. He draws a picture of some of the enemies from the Legend of Zelda and sends it in.

Andrew Adams writes in that he recently purchased Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and was very impressed with hits graphics, music, and strategy. He strongly recommends it to anybody who has an NES.
