Elmerson is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom. He can be found trapped beneath the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower inside the Popla Foothills North Well after being lured in by a treasure chest.
By using Ascend to return to the surface and heading to the entrance of the Popla Foothills Excavation Site, Link can step on a switch to free Elmerson and receive a Purple Rupee as a reward for saving him.
Upon meeting Elmerson back at the tower, he explains that the terminal wasn't working due to humidity, so he came to do maintenance. The tower will then be fixed and Link can activate it.
