The 2017 Zelda Dungeon Informer Marathon, also known as the ZD-i Marathon, took place between July 15th and July 21st, lasting roughly 168 hours. It was the 6th annual Zelda Dungeon Informer Marathon, and the second collaborative marathon between Zelda Dungeon and Zelda Informer. Exactly $5000 was raised in support of the Children's Hospital of Illinois, through Extra Life.

Kara was made to complete the Malo Mart sidequest, as she would have completed the game an hour ahead of her predicted time.
Mases left for around 3 hours to repair the AC unit in the basement, forcing Locke to take over.

This was the first game played, breaking conventions of Phantom Hourglass being first.

This game was played in a 3v3v3 bingo format, where three teams of three played through the entirety of the game, substituting players over time.
Each team was required to complete all four Divine Beasts, as well as defeating Calamity Ganon.
Furthermore, a bingo card was drawn, and each team selected a row or column of objectives for them to complete over the duration of their run.
There were also various donation incentives made available during the game, which required players to complete additional, unselected objectives from the bingo card.

Memorable Moments

  • After a donation incentive during Skyward Sword, Trevor had to unlock the boss room in the Fire Sanctuary blindfolded.
  • Team Locke attempted to use a Wooden Mop for the final blow to Calamity Ganon in Breath of the Wild, but a deflected laser was the final hit.
  • During Twilight Princess HD, the AC unit in the basement stopped working, and Mases had to stop playing in order to resolve the issue.
