I've noticed while skimming some articles that there are many pages that link here. Yet, this page appears to have been deleted. May someone please explain why this page does not (and apparently should not) exist? The subject of the page seems valid, so has this already been moved and subsequently deleted? Thank you. - It was "created" by a vandal, and then blanked by someone called "WhiteKnightBlackBishop". (And then an admin deleted the blank page). - Sanityormadness (talk) 06:40, July 22, 2023 (UTC)
- I still do not understand why the page was deleted. A vandal created the page, and I blanked it because I did not want unsuspecting people to see the content by pure chance. I did not intend to have this page deleted; Charitwo deleted the page. I intended this page to be left blank until someone else filled the page with proper content. Now, I see eight pages linking here, and when people travel to this page through those red links, hoping to create a good article about the Mini Stable, they are discouraged to do so because they see that an administrator deleted the page. I propose that this page be either recreated or undeleted. If you approve of my proposition, I expect to see this page exist soon. Otherwise, I will promptly remove all links to this page. Thank you. - A blank page is worse than a redlink. It causes problems for search engine optimisation, it leads people to think there is content there when there isn't, and it removes it from Special:Wantedpages. Removing the links *also* removes it from Special:Wantedpages, and would be regarded poorly. - Sanityormadness (talk) 19:39, July 26, 2023 (UTC)
- I am afraid there has been a miscommunication. I wish to recreate this page, and have myself or someone else fill in the blank page with meaningful content. I understand that a blank page is worse than a red link, but I never meant to convey the idea that I hoped to leave the page blank. On the contrary, I was meaning to temporarily leave it blank, and perhaps later fill the page in if another editor did not already do so. Do you believe that this page should exist (with information, of course), or do you believe that this page should not be touched? I am deeply sorry if I am overlooking something obvious. - The page should not be recreated until there is sufficient information, we are trying to avoid creation of stub/placeholder pages for the sake of the page existing. Additionally, the places that already link to this page are fine. --Charitwo (talk) 21:59, July 26, 2023 (UTC)
