I'm really confused on whether this is the name of the actual boss or not. Most pages link to Nightmare (Boss) when speaking about the main villain of Link's Awakening. Is this page unnecessary, or should the other page link here? Heroine of Time 21:32, September 18, 2012 (CDT)

This should be merged with Nightmare (Boss). Also, apparently it's "DeathI" (as in "Death Eye"), but I didn't find the source of that name. << Locke(T·C) >> 07:24, September 19, 2012 (CDT)
Its Japanese name is "デスアイ" (desuai). That's katakana, so it's likely meant to be a Japanese pronunciation of an English (or otherwise foreign) word. This is where "DethI" comes from (reportedly in the NoA guide [1]). If it weren't for that guide, I'd think "Death Eye" would be a better localization. Note that we've localized the underground enemy in SS to Moldorm even though it's "moldworm" in Japanese, so such a localization wouldn't be unprecedented. "The Official Nintendo Player's Guide refers to it as Dethl (p.84, 103) and Death Eye (p.112) in the same book."[2] << Locke(T·C) >> 11:56, September 19, 2012 (CDT)
Actually, Locke, "DethI" is used throughout the Guide instead of "Dethl". Anyway, like what Locke said, both "Death Eye" and "DethI" appear in the guide meaning both of these names are canon. Zelda.com has it as "Dethl", but that isn't really important as it is Zelda.com. XD Anway, I would rather go with "Death Eye" as "Dethl" and "DethI" are usually mistaken for each other since of font choices and such. Anway, it seems weird to capitalize the i in "DethI" which sounds exctly the same as "Death Eye". :) Odd300 :) 21:41, February 2, 2013 (CST)
