Forest Temple (Twilight Princess): Difference between revisions

The [[Mini-Boss]] of the Forest Temple is [[Ook]], the leader of the monkeys who's mad for dancing and has a weapon you need.{{Ref|''Gale Boomerang Twilight Princess Trading Card''|Ook, the baboon boss, must be defeated to obtain [the Gale Boomerang].|Card Description}} Gaining access to the Mini-Boss room requires Link to free four monkeys from their cages and use them to swing over the large gap between the main dungeon and the chamber where Ook lies. There was previously a bridge spanning across the gap, but Ook cut it off with the Gale Boomerang. During the battle, Ook uses the Gale Boomerang to release [[Baba Serpent]]s that are hanging from the ceiling. So begin by executing a Spin Attack on the two advancing Baba Serpent head to stop Ook's first attack, if not, they act as more of an obstacle, and thus should be avoided. After Link has defeated Ook, Ook appears to be very confused as to his surroundings, and once he sees Link he exits the room and leaves behind the Gale Boomerang for Link to collect. With the Gale Boomerang in hand, Link can travel even further into the dungeon as he continues his search for a part of the Fused Shadow.

The [[Boss]] of the Forest Temple is known as the [[Diababa|Twilit Parasite: Diababa]]. This parasite version of a standard [[Deku Baba]] is a corruption caused by the powerful Fused Shadow. Diababa can be defeated using a combination of [[Bombling]] attacks and Sword attacks. this Boss take two form: '''1. Twin Diababa Serpent.''' Is surprisingly ease to slay. '''2. Twilit Parasite Diababa.''' In this form Ook actually assists Link in this battle by providing Link with Bomblings after Diababa destroyes the ones in the area. After Link has performed an [[Hidden Skills#Ending Blow|Ending Blow]] on Diababa, it explodes into a million tiny black spots. These spots come together to form the first piece of the Fused Shadow. [[Midna]] tells Link that this is what she has been looking for,{{Ref|TP|6544|[[Midna]]}} and urges him to continue in search of the rest.{{Ref|TP|6552|[[Midna]]}} With that, the Forest Temple is completed.

Two Pices of Heart can be found in the Forest Temple. The first, in the Staircase Cavern. Drop a Bombling onto the first Deku Like you saw.

The second one, in the Room of the Tile Worms. After getting the Gale Boomerang, go back to this room and target the two lit torches, blow both of them out, and the entire large staircase recedes.
