Malena: Difference between revisions

Speaking with Malena will initiate the [[Gleeok Guts (Side Quest)|Gleeok Guts]] side quest. Malena will recount her plans to have a wedding adventure with her husband, but he has since fallen ill and she blames herself.{{Ref|''As you can see, my husband is too sick to move. Since then, she has educated herself in the ways of medicine and now knows what is needed to heal him, all while blaming herself.{{Ref|''Once before, he collapsed from illness. A kind traveler helped me treat him then. I have since pushed myself to know the ways of medicine. It was only a matter of time before he would need more help. The return of my husband's illness is...my fault. But I know what it will take to heal him this time.|'''Malena'''}} She tells Link the only way to heal him is with some [[Gleeok Guts]] and describes the horrible creature needed to be slain to retrieve them.{{Ref|''A medicine made from Gleeok guts. After Link obtains some [[Gleeok Guts]], he can return to Malena and incredulously she starts to ask Link how he obtained it...then proceeds to prepare the medicine that allows her husband to make a full recovery.{{Ref|''C-could this be? Gleeok guts?! How did you... No, there is no time for that. Forgive me if I go right to making my medicine. I know I can save him with it. Sarqso! He's recovered fully, all because of you!|'''Malena'''}} [[Platt]] interjects to express his thanks to his wife for the medicine she made and to Link for obtaining it, and that he is saved as a result.{{Ref|''Unbelievable!
