Thadd stares to the east and longs to return to [[Hateno Village]] and see his family | Thadd stares to the east and longs to return to [[Hateno Village]] and see his family, [[Tamana]] and [[Teebo]], again. He is a bit distraught as whle he is watching guard, he looks out in the distance and sees the [[Ring Ruins]], found in [[Kakariko Village (Tears of the Kingdom)|Kakariko Village]]. However, when he looks in that direction, he can only think what's even beyond the Ring Ruins, which is his hometown of Hateno Village. This puts him a viscious cycle of trying to do his job, while also being saddened that he is so far from his family. | ||

It's called Hateno Village. I've been worried about my family back home. So if you catch me sneaking a peek thataway, well, that's why. Have you seen the ring-shaped ruins on the horizon? They're off to the southeast. But when I'm looking out that way, I'm thinking of what's beyond the ruins-my dear Hateno Village.
