'''Freezards''' are frozen enemies made primarily out of ice, and have made their appearance in three different [[The Legend of Zelda (Series)|''The Legend of Zelda'']] titles. These three games include ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'', ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]'', and ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]''. They appear as large pieces of ice that blow an icy breath. This icy breath has the ability to freeze [[Link]], making him slowly lose hearts the longer he's frozen. In ''Ocarina of Time'' and ''Majora's Mask'', the Freezards are much smaller when compared to their ''Twilight Princess'' counterparts. A much smaller form of Freezards, known as [[Mini-Freezard]]s, appear in ''Twilight Princess'' and ''Spirit Tracks''.

In ''Twilight Princess'', Freezards appear mostly in the [[Snowpeak Ruins]]; however, they can also be found in a few of the small caves around [[Hyrule]], which inculdes the [[Cave of Ordeals]]. Link is unable to defeat them with the use of his [[Sword]] in this particular game. Because of this inability, he must use the [[Ball and Chain]] to defeat them. It takes two hits with the Ball and Chain to defeat them. After a Freezard has been defeated, it spilts into four to five Mini-Freezards. Alternatively, Link can kill a Freezard by utilizing the multiple [[Cannon]]s that can be found in the Snowpeak Ruins. Freezards act more like an obstacle rather than an enemy; most of the time they are stationary and block doorways.
