Spiked Thwomps can be found in side-scrolling areas of [[Angler's Tunnel]] and [[Catfish's Maw]]. These big slabs of stone are one of enemies that can't be destroyed. They stay motionless at the top of the screen, waiting for [[Link]] to walk underneath them.

Spiked Thwomps attack in the same way as the [[Thwimp]]s, but their attack are hard to avoid because they are bigger. If Link is too slow, the Thwomp will slam down on him as he walk underneath it. Link need to equip his [[Pegasus Boots]] and make a quick dash to the other side to avoid getting hurt.
