Yunobo's Power of Fire: Difference between revisions

Yunobo's Power of Fire appears to be a development of his prior use of [[Daruk's Protection]] - rather than being static while shielded, he can now roll in a direction at high speed with a flame effect, similar to [[Goron Link]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]''. By doing so, Yunobo can break down obstacles such as [[Gloom Rock]] or [[sediment]] walls, break [[Ore Deposit|ore deposit]]s or attack enemies.  

When first seen, Yunobo is being mind-controlled by a strange mask he was apparently given by Princess Zelda, and is using it primarily to mine "[[Marbled Rock Roast]]" from gloom rocks, as no other means of breaking them have been discovered. After a fight within the YunoboCo storage cave Link destroys the mask, releasing him from the spell, they are trapped inside the cave. Yunobo asks Link to help guide him in breaking them out, as he can't see where he's going while using the power.

Yunobo goes on to help Link by using the Power of Fire against the monster [[Moragia]], which was nesting within [[Death Mountain (Breath of the Wild)|Death Mountain]], and in clearing the [[Fire Temple (Tears of the Kingdom)|Fire Temple]]. After this, he obtains a [[Secret Stone]] from the ancient Goron [[Sage]] of Fire, making himself the new Sage of Fire. From this point on, Yunobo can create a remote avatar and - after making the [[Vow of Yunobo, Sage of Fire]] - sends the avatar with Link permanently, tied to a ring on Link's Zonai right thumb and allowing the Hylian [[Champion]] to call upon Yunobo's Power of Fire at any time.
