Before being allowed to purchase and use Powder Kegs, Link must undertake a test. In the test, Link must use a powder keg to destroy a bolder blocking the [[Goron Racetrack]]. During this test, Link is timed. If he manages to accomplish the task, he will be allowed to purchase powder kegs from the Goron Powder Keg Shop, and is given the first one for free.
