Pumpkin Head: Difference between revisions

'''Pumpkin Head''' is the [[boss]] of the first [[dungeon]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]'', [[Spirit's Grave]]. It is a humanoid figure, with a pumpkin for a head. During the fight, it walks around the area, shoots projectiles at [[Link]], and even tries to hurt Link with a smash attack. In order to hurt Pumpkin Head, Link needs to attack its body with the [[Wooden Sword]]. After three or four hits, the body vanishes, leaving behind the pumpkin, which falls to the ground. Now, Link must equip the [[Power Bracelet]] and grab the Pumpkin Head, at which point a tiny ghost, likely the brains of the Pumpkin Head, flies out. At this point, Link can do one of two things: he can either toss the pumpkin at the ghost to cause damage or toss it aside and hit the ghost with his sword. After being hit, the ghost flies back into the pumpkin, making the cycle repeat. After two hits with the pumpkin or three hits with the sword, Pumpkin Head is defeated, opening the way to the [[Essences of Time|Eternal Spirit]].
